Throughout his life, Mark has experienced Australia's changing economic landscape, including droughts, floods, the Global Financial Crisis, and the COVID-19 pandemic. These experiences taught him resilience, adaptability, and the importance of preserving knowledge for future generations.

Born and raised in Australia to proud parents of the World War II generation, Mark developed a deep appreciation for family, community, and service. From school holidays working in business to careers in warehousing, sales, health, and the maritime industry, he has always believed in serving others and building strong relationships.

Mark has owned commercial and residential property, worked alongside respected business leaders, and served his community as a Chamber of Commerce committee member, Neighbourhood Area Coordinator overseeing more than 1,000 households, and a passionate advocate for Australian history and heritage. Since 2009, Sail2Growth has supported Australian businesses, families, and communities through mentoring, business development, and legacy projects.

Today, Mark's passion is helping families preserve the stories, memories, wisdom, and values of their parents before they are lost. He also believes Australia's heritage, innovation, and the contributions of past generations deserve to be recognised, remembered, and passed on to future Australians.
